The new school session has begun and we have a total of 119 students attending this session!
We also have welcomed 2 more children into our family; Arron (6 years old) and Peter (8 years old)!! We are so glad to have them. They are such a joy!
Another bit of HUGE news is Meren & Shelly Damsel our lovely “Father & Mother” of the orphanage are expecting their second beautiful baby!
Please pray for the health of Shelly and Baby, as well as continued prayer for all of our children and for the means to be provided to continue caring for our continually growing family at CHOH!!

Our 2012 Touch of Hope School Spring Class of 119 students!

Our lovely 24 children living at CHOH

Arron (6 years old)

Peter (8 years old)
We had the wonderful opportunity to speak to a local high school worship class about Indies Attic and our orphanage and they have decided to take on some of the needs at our orphanage as a class project!
There are 23 high school students in this class and all have the most amazing hearts. It was such a blessing to be able to meet them all and spend time talking with them. Our orphanage is one lucky place to have these students coming together to help out.
They are planning a concert event to raise their goal of $4000 to replace our broken water filter and to build a new 5 partition bathroom with a septic tank. As the event comes along we will keep updating you!
We can’t wait to see what comes!
Welcome to the season of cool weather and hectic schedules! This season will be nothing less than an adventure for us here at iA. Our orphanage in India, Chanan House of Hope, is coming into this season with a bang! This year has been a year of growth and change and with this we are coming to a point in time where we need to go to the next level. Are you ready for this?
We have OUT GROWN our orphanage!
Extremely exciting news! However this also brings on many new projects and needs and we need your help to accomplish them!
Immediate Needs:
*Funding to replace our water purifier. The current one has been damaged and caused clean drinking water to be a limited resource.
*Funding for a new bathroom. We currently have only one traditional Indian bathroom for everyone living at CHOH.
*Funding to begin the building process. We need to expand our property, as well as our building so we are able to accommodate the incoming needs of the orphanage now and for future children. Also, our roofs are beginning to leak during the rain storms and will need to be repaired as soon as possible.
Other needs:
*2 new teachers for Touch of Hope School. However, we have no more room to accommodate any new teachers, children, or guests until the building process can begin.
The iA team is currently raising money take a trip this winter to CHOH and begin the first stages of the building process. There are many ways for you to get involved and help us meet our needs and goals. For more information please visit our website www.IndiesAttic.com and spread the word!
Together we have already accomplished some amazing things lets continue making a difference and changing lives!

Vantage exists to show teens with temporary sacrifices come a promising future. Vantage will empower teens to live lives without regrets and free them to achieve their personal hopes and dreams. Its goal is to ultimately enhance self-esteem through teaching them in the areas of healthy relationships, sex, dating, and good decision making.
Vantage has a 4 week course to inform teens of the consequences of sex with multiple partners. Each week will focus on a different topic from STD’s to teen pregnancy, as well as personal testimonies of adults that have experienced some of the consequences.

We have had the pleasure of getting to know Founder Elizabeth Shafer over the years and have been able to watch this amazing program come to life. Her heart and her passion for teens is amazing. We are so excited for her, for Vantage, and for the impact this will have on our local community!
